Driving Revenue Lift Through Personalized Onsite Media
After the first 4 months, the MSO not only saw an increase in overall retail and house brand sales, but also gained recurring monthly payouts from advertising revenue generated by third party ad spend. As more advertisers came on board and experienced positive results, monthly payouts grew more than 100% month-over-month, on average.

The MSO partnered with Surfside to integrate ad zones across their retail website and ecommerce menus. Placements were integrated on page headers, side panels, and in-line with content in a manner that would engage consumers at key moments of the shopping journey while maintaining the visual integrity of the website.
A portion of ad space was reserved to feature their in-house brands, while the remaining inventory was made available to be sponsored by third party wholesale partners.
Through integrations with the MSO’s POS, CRM, and ecommerce, Surfside delivered ads showcasing products consumers were most likely to purchase – either because they had bought them before, or because data indicated a strong likelihood of interest in similar or complementary products.
